Dr. Francis Su is Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College, and past president of the Mathematical Association of America. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and his research is geometric combinatorics. He received the 2001 Hasse Prize for expository writing, and the 2013 Haimo Award for distinguished teaching from the Mathematical Association of America. He authors the popular Math Fun Facts website and is creator of the iOS math news app MathFeed (also on Twitter). His book Mathematics for Human Flourishing will be published by Yale University Press in 2019.
